Our Code of Conduct

25 Mar

Tottenham Hotspur is a football club with a proud history of pride and inclusiveness. Amsterdam Spurs leadership commit to embodying the spirit of the parent club in all our decisions and actions.

Amsterdam Spurs are committed to providing an experience that is safe and enjoyable for everyone and also respectful to our home pubs (primarily O’Reilly’s and Regular and Jack’s).

While we encourage everyone to sing, chant, cheer, and be loud in support of Tottenham Hotspur FC, we also ask that everyone abide by the following Code of Conduct:

Amsterdam Spurs include members from a wide range of backgrounds, beliefs, and identities. Chants, songs, or comments directed at a person’s gender, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, etc. will not be tolerated.

Amsterdam and our pubs are the home of Amsterdam Spurs. We will treat the pubs as we would our own home. The staff of pubs are part of the Amsterdam Spurs family and should be treated as such.

No fighting or disorderly behaviour will be tolerated. Violators will be warned and then subsequently asked to leave. Chronic disruptive behaviour will result in a formal request to have an individual banned from the pub.

This applies to Amsterdam Spurs members, visiting Spurs supporters, and visiting supporters of other clubs.Since we are guests at our home pubs, all Amsterdam Spurs members should follow strict adherence to any request by the staff.

Regarding our online presence, and whilst we at Amsterdam Spurs encourage football related comments, jokes, memes, funnies and the like on our social media group (WhatsApp), we kindly ask you to keep it civil. That means refraining from using our social media to post or display comments that are:

1. vulgar

2. obscene

3. threatening or intimidating

4. racist

5. inciting or promoting violence

6. or in violation of Spurs’ official policies against discrimination, harassment, or hostility.
